What process should I follow to enroll my child?

Learners are referred to Merryvale school by the Department of Education (Specialised Education: Eastern Cape), situated at 46 Park Drive, Port Elizabeth, contact number, (041) 508 8300. Placing is done in conjunction with the principal.

Primarily, learners must benefit maximally from our educational programme.
Learners should already be 5 years of age when admitted and they leave school at the end of the year in which they turn 18.

Parents will then be officially notified by the Department of Education and Merryvale administration will follow up with additional enrolment information.
Please note: There is no set timeframe for admission decisions, as placement depends on space availability at the school.
