Art provides the learners with an opportunity to work with materials in a natural and relaxed manner, which in itself is therapeutic.

Furthermore, it encourages the development of planning and task-completion skills, important characteristics vital when entering the adulthood phase. The latter is also important for the possibility of holding down a job in a place such as the Sheltered Labour Market, or elsewhere.

Our learners take part in Eisteddfods and art competitions, which expose them to positive and encouraging creative ventures and in turn, teaches the public of the often underestimated abilities of learners with barriers to learning.
